Garlicky Mashed Potatoes with Chard
Mashed potatoes with chard and roasted garlic. Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients
- Yukon Gold potatoes
- Swiss chard
- unsweetened soy milk
- white miso paste
- Roasted Garlic
- Savory Spice Blend 2.0
- pippali
Instructions
- In a pot of boiling water, cook the potatoes until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam the chard in a metal steamer basket over an inch (2.5cm) or so of boiling water in a covered saucepan or pot until tender, 3 to 4 minutes.
- Drain well, press out any remaining water, and set aside.
- In a small bowl or cup, combine the warm soy milk with the miso paste and blend well.
- When the potatoes are soft, drain them and return them to the pot.
- Add the miso mixture, Roasted Garlic, Savory Spice Blend 2.0, and pippali to taste, then mash well.
- Fold in the chard.
- Serve hot.
