Ingredients

  • broccoli florets
  • frozen green peas
  • avocado
  • red onion
  • white miso paste
  • lemon or lime juice
  • jalapeno
  • cilantro

Instructions

  1. Steam broccoli and peas 6–8 min until tender; rinse with cold water to stop cooking and drain.
  2. Purée cooled vegetables in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Add avocado flesh, red onion, miso, and lemon juice; pulse or process to preferred texture.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, mix in jalapeño and cilantro if desired. Best eaten same day.
