Pinto Bean Spread
Versatile spread for burritos, wraps, or dip. Makes 6 servings.

Ingredients
- pinto beans
- garlic
- apple cider vinegar
- white miso paste
- black cumin
- pippali
- plum tomatoes
- red onion
- jalapeno
- smoked paprika
- cilantro
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the pinto beans, garlic, vinegar, miso paste, black cumin, and pippali, and mash until well mixed.
- Add the tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeño, and mix until well combined.
- Taste to adjust the seasonings.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with smoked paprika (if using) and cilantro.
- Serve right away, or cover and refrigerate for an hour to allow the flavors to intensify.
- If not serving immediately, keep the spread, covered, in the refrigerator.
- Properly stored, it will keep for up to 3 days.
