Tulsi Tea Lemonade
A refreshing tulsi (holy basil) tea lemonade. Tulsi is an ayurvedic adaptogen rich in ursolic acid, which promotes calm and reduces stress and anxiety.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp tulsi tea leaves
- 4 cups boiling water
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 0.25 cup lemon juice
- Sparkling water
Instructions
- Place the tulsi tea leaves in a heatproof bowl, add the just-boiled water, and stir. Let steep for 5 minutes, then strain into a pitcher. Add the maple syrup or honey, stir, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 45 minutes, until chilled. Add the lemon juice.
- Fill glasses with ice, then top off with the tea lemonade and a splash of sparkling water.
