Coffee Granita
A frozen, granular coffee dessert sweetened with date syrup.

Ingredients
- date syrup 2.0
- strong brewed coffee
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the Date Syrup 2.0 and ⅓ cup (80ml) of water, and bring to a boil.
- Lower the heat to medium and cook, stirring, to blend well.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and set it aside to cool.
- Stir in the coffee, then pour the mixture into a shallow baking dish.
- Cover and freeze for several hours, or until firm, stirring about once per hour.
- When firm, remove the granita from the freezer.
- Scrape it with the tines of a fork until it is broken up.
- Spoon the granita into a container, cover, and freeze until serving time.
- Serve in small bowls.
- For the best taste and texture, enjoy it within a few hours after it is made.
