Strawberry and Basil Refresher
A strawberry and basil mocktail spritz. Strawberries are high in vitamin C and contain heart-healthy, cancer-fighting polyphenols and potassium for blood pressure.

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 0.5 cup lime juice
- 12 large fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp monk fruit sweetener (optional)
- Sparkling water
Instructions
- Divide the chopped berries among four glasses. Add 2 tablespoons lime juice to each glass along with two or three roughly torn basil leaves. Using a cocktail muddler, pound the berries and basil until they release all their juices. Add sweetener, if desired.
- Fill each glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish with extra basil, stir, and enjoy.
