Blackberry-Almond Butter Sauce

A blended sauce of blackberries, almond butter, and date syrup; pairs with the banana-walnut cake or oatmeal.

Ingredients

  • fresh or frozen blackberries
  • unsweetened soy milk
  • almond butter
  • date syrup 2.0
  • fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients and puree until smooth.
  2. Use it as is, or cover and refrigerate until needed.
  3. The sauce may thicken after sitting awhile, so stir it before using and add up to 1 additional tablespoon of soy milk to thin it, if desired.
